Meet our Pastor
Greg Gunn
Founding & Lead Pastor
Greg Gunn is the founding pastor of Providence Church. He holds a BA in Education, a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, and is an ordained Pastor in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Prior to launching Providence Church in 2012, Greg spent twenty-three years serving as a youth pastor. Pastor Gunn is also the founder and Senior Instructor for Community Christian Karate Clubs, and founder and Executive Director for Karate for the King Invitational Events. Additionally, he has worked as a middle school and high school teacher, as an adjunct professor of Youth Ministry and Christian Leadership, and as a counselor in adolescent mental health.
Greg’s leadership style is personal, authentic, and methodical. He purposefully and passionately allows God to use his gifts to reach the lost and help those in need, both in our community, as well as abroad. Greg is passionate about preaching the scripture and seeing lives changed through the power of the gospel. Greg was honored to be the 2023 recipient of the prestigious Bartlett L. Hess award for Church Vitality.
Greg is married to Aimee and they have four children; Hannah, Caleb, Caitee Grace, and Isabella. Greg and Aimee have a heart for international orphans, education, children, worship, and meeting the needs of others.
